Based out of the Navajo Lodge Learning Center, Brian Head Resort's Adaptive Ski & Snowboard Program offers individuals encumbered by a physical or mental disability the opportunity to do something they never thought they could do - and perhaps do it very well! The Program allows these individuals the opportunity to participate in a sport with their friends and family, and be part of a world that believes in their potential.
The Brian Head Winter Sports School offers a complete adaptive ski program in all six disciplines:
- Cognitive & Developmental Disabilities: learning, cognitive, and brain injury victims
- Visual Impairment: all visual impairments, including blindness
- Mono-Ski: paraplegia
- Bi-Ski: quadriplegia
- Three-Track: amputees
- Four Track: post-Polio and balance deficit disorders
All-inclusive packages, including lift ticket, 2-1/2 hour lesson, and equipment rental are only $79 per day. Our staff of adaptive instructors has the versatility and skills appropriate for specific disabilities. For more information about our program, including lesson times and reservations (required!), please call 435-677-2049 or e-mail us at skischool@brianhead.com.
Brian Head Resort welcomes individuals with the above-mentioned disabilities who choose not to take a lesson. For these individuals, Brian Head Resort is happy to provide a complimentary lift ticket to a guide when this assistance is needed.
