Mountain Info

Brian Head Resort offers The Greatest Snow on Earth®, with a yearly average snowfall of over 360 inches, and Utah’s highest base elevation. Covering over 650 acres, the Resort has two connected mountains, Giant Steps and Navajo, with a total of 71 runs and 8 chair lifts. Come celebrate 50 years of fun with us! 


The 2014–2015 winter season opens on November 21, 2014,  and closes on April 12, 2015 (conditions permitting).

10:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday

9:30am to 4:30pm Saturday, Sunday, and Holiday Periods
4:00pm to 9:00pm for Night Skiing and Tubing on Friday and Saturday. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday during Holiday Periods.)

Snow Tubing: Navajo Tube Hill is a 75’ vertical drop with a 550’ slope length. The Giant Steps Tube Hill is a 100’ vertical drop with a 600’ slope length.
