Free On-Snow Experience
New to 24-25 season! The free on-snow program is open to first-time skiers and snowboarders ages 13 and older, providing essential skills and safety guidance to help newcomers build confidence on the slopes. Lessons begin with the basics, covering proper equipment use, the skier responsibility code, and key safety practices. Instructors then guide participants on a gentle slope, teaching fundamental techniques such as gliding, turning, stopping, and falling safely.
Lift Tickets and Equipment Discounts
A special $30 lift ticket is available for the Free On Snow Experience, which allows guests to ride the magic carpet lift and Pioneer Lift (chair 6). Free On Snow Experience participants can also get a basic ski or snowboard rental package for $25 when booked online.

When can I start the experience?
The on-snow experience begins at 10 am on select days during the season. Register online at least 24 hours in advance to secure your spot in a class.
Can I participate in multiple on-snow experiences?
Yes, but remember that the On-Snow Experience does not go beyond gentle terrain. If you are ready to go beyond that, enrolling in a lesson is recommended to further grow your skill sets. Explore lessons here.
