23:24 Winter Season Opening Day is November 17th, 2023
It’s “snow-fficial” – we’re commencing the start of the 23/24 winter season tomorrow, Friday, November 17th at 10:00 am! We’re planning to be open daily and having a blast through the end of the season.
We’ll be sharing the excitement with you all at our First Chair Celebration at Lift 3 (Blackfoot). We can’t wait to kick off a new season and celebrate on the slopes!

Which lifts will be open?
Blackfoot (Chair 3) and Pioneer (Chair 6)
Where will the opening day festivities take place?
The opening day first chair festivities will take place on the Giant Steps side of the mountain at Blackfoot Chair. Learn more about the event here.
What & when will the opening day festivities be?
- 9:00am-10am – Free hot cocoa served lift-side
- 9:00am-10am – Swag bag, Yeti, & BlackStrap giveaway to the first 30 people
- 9:00am-5:00pm – Music at Blackfoot #3 lift
Will Navajo Lodge & Giant Steps Lodge be open?
Yes. both lodes will be open.
Will there be night skiing?
Night skiing will not be open at all during opening weekend
Can I rent skis on opening day?
Yes! Rentals will be available at both Giant Steps and Navajo lodges.
Will there be any restaurants open?
Yes! Navajo Lodge and Giant Steps lodge will both have cafes
Will Navajo Lift be open?
